It is interesting that this full moon occurs right before the holiday where we celebrate what we are grateful for. Thanksgiving is the time of year where we are thankful for all that we have. Taurus is the sign that is very concerned about the values of life. What is valuable and why. What we have and/or what is lacking in our lives. All of this is ruled by Taurus.

I believe with this full moon in Taurus we can really look closely at all of the goodness that our Beautiful Mother Earth brings to us each day and do our best to be truly thankful and grateful. It is true that we are definitely experiencing the need to cut back and make whatever sacrifices are necessary to move through the heavy energy that our overall economic downturn is creating. On the positive side of this experience is the ability we have to do more with less. As much as Taurus is the gatherer of goods; it is also the sign of frugality. Where can you get more creative in your life?

We know that full moons are times of releasing what is no longer necessary and of course, this can mean so many things. With the last new moon in Scorpio, the opposite sign to Taurus, we were asked to go deep within ourselves to figure out what needed transformation. Now with the full moon already upon us we need to ask what have we learned with regards to what we can transform and obviously do better. It is true that reaching goals, dreams and desires is natural for spiritual beings on a human journey. Reviewing those goals, dreams and desires to make certain that they are within our reach is what this full moon exercise is about. Transforming your energy to let go of what is no longer practical to desire (Taurus = practicality).

Taurus is ruled by Venus as is Libra. With Venus now positioned in Libra and this full moon in Taurus there is much love, admiration and affection to be shared. Take the time to tell your loved ones how much they mean to you. Tell yourself how much you mean to you. Taurus is the sign that shows us the richness of our earth. Let us be grateful for that richness and let go of what we believe we lack. This is how we see all that we have that is wonderful. Look for Taurus in your chart to find where these energies will be the most evident and powerful.

Each month we experience this wonderful moon cycle. If you follow the cycles closely and take some kind of action to honor them, you will find that there is a continual opportunity for spiritual growth as each month goes by. We must create a positive change in our personal lives to create change in the world.

On Monday, the Sun enters the joyful fired up sign of Sagittarius along with Mars and Mercury. Lovely energy to get ready for the holiday season.
