The Full Moon in Libra is at 27 degrees on Sunday, April 17th, 2011. This full moon brings the focus on a Me Vs Thee conflict or doing what you can to make it a Me joining with Thee celebration.

I feel like a juggler right now. Balancing this with that. Balancing emotion with reason. Balancing myself with the rest of the world. Pulling and pushing like children playing tug-of-war. With most of the planets transiting in the sign of Aries (fire and passion) this full moon is going to be lovely with Libra (air) fanning all that fire. Our goal for the next few days will be to keep that fire where it belongs. On the stove heating up a lovely meal or in the fireplace for those that still need that kind of warmth. What I mean here is that Aries has a tendency to be impulsive and “ram like” in the way they express energy especially with Mercury still Rx in Aries until next weekend. It may take holding back a bit and using the qualities prominent in Libra which are peace loving and desiring of justice and harmony.

We have a great opportunity here to resolve and restore any and all relationships that are of importance in our lives. First and foremost, of course, is the relationship we have with ourselves. We seldom take the time to really explore what that is. If you were to observe yourself (a u-tube video comes to mind) and see how you navigate through the day; it would be very interesting as you would be able to understand that you have a spirit and mind as well as a body. We have needs and honoring them is what creates a balanced energy that we can then take into the world every day. Honoring our needs in a balanced way is the only way to honor the day.

Of course, Libra is the sign that is very concerned about others and how each word they speak and action they take is going to affect any situation they find themselves in. What a wonderful combination of two powerful signs. You and me and me and you. What else is there in this life? We are truly more interdependent than we have ever been. We need to utilize our energy in productive ways and not waste time in misunderstandings.

Powerful, positive, spiritual communication is the key to creating the most compassionate and honest relationships. I am, first and foremost, an advocate of peaceful conflict resolution in the world and in all of my relationships.

This full moon can be a test to your ability to use all of the energy available to do just that! Words used rightfully create empowerment. And remember that kindness must be at the heart of all of our relationships with ourselves and with others (personal and strangers alike).
