There is a song from “South Pacific” that I dearly love and I find myself singing it when I am stressing about something.  This is when the committee comes out.  You all know who the “committee” is.  Right?

The committee is that consortium of thoughts that sit in that special room inside of our heads waiting to charge out and tell us what’s wrong with us or what we still need to do or what they are mad about or sad about or angry about.  That’s the consortium.

The song from South Pacific goes like this:

“Talking happy talking happy talk.  Talk about things you like to do.  If you don’t have a dream; if you don’t have a dream; how you gonna have a dream come true”. 

You may be asking what this has to do with the Full Moon in Gemini happening today, December 17th, 2013.  Gemini is the word sign.  Gemini rules communication and how we share our thoughts with ourselves and with others.   Words come from thoughts formed together.

So consider your thoughts and your words especially now as we enter the “Holiday Season”.  We are supposed to be having fun folks!  This is climax of an entire year that will never return again.  This is the time of the year that we need to be thanking ourselves and our loved ones and even the clerks that are putting up with our angst and anxiety as we search for that perfect something for that perfect someone.  Use  WORDS that are sweet and kind and compassionate.

Whatever you have not gotten together yet; please do your best to not beat yourself up with negative thinking and speaking.  Stop and take a deep breath every once in a while.  Gemini rules the lungs.  Breathe in the goodness and breathe out the stress.

It is important to be aware of and utilize the two signs that are in opposition.  Gemini is opposite of Sagittarius.  Sag’s are idealistic and optimistic.  Put the air and fire signs together to fuel the warmth of your communication.

Honor this last Full Moon energy by paying attention to what you think and what you say to yourself and to others!
