Upcoming full moon in Virgo occurring Sunday, March 16th, 2014.

Astrologically this full moon occurs in Virgo opposite the sign of Pisces.   It is also considered the last full moon of the astrological year ending in the Sun sign of Pisces.  Next month begins the new astrological year when the Sun enters the sign of Aries. 

This is considered a time of endings.  Reflection, meditation and clearing away of the old is what is mandated now.

Pisces being the last sign of the zodiac ruling the 12^th house is considered to be the sign of endings as well as what is hidden from clear sight.  Exposing the old structures of life, including situations that are no longer needed for our highest good is a clear indicator of what is occurring astrologically in the world and within our own psyche. 

This full moon brings an opportunity to search for the truth of whatever situation you have personally been hiding from or denying. Virgo (the sign of the organizer and researcher) knows how to get to the heart of the matter bringing us all of the details necessary to do that.  It will bring us exactly what we need to find the truth and either embrace that which we know to be wonderful about us, our lives and our loved ones and/or clear away the negatives of situations that are troublesome.

Pisces is the sign of deep and compassionate spirituality.  Pisces is good at self sacrifice for the well being of others.  This is something we will all need to do going forward.  To sacrifice means to give up or let go of.  We can do this with the help of Pisces as Pisces sees what is beyond the obvious and behind the scenes.   I want to experience this full moon energy as a great time to examine our  life as if today was all we had and then, to act accordingly. 

Full moons are also about letting go of the past.  Again, the latest challenges around our planet including the extreme weather patterns have certainly been a metaphor for letting go of what we thought we knew and were certain of and embracing what is now.  We will be asked to act in this way as never before.  Send love and share love and be love for yourself and all of our brothers and sisters in the world.

Virgo is the sign that will guide us to use our organizational skills to prepare for whatever Mother Nature has in store.  Looking back in history our ancestors spent much time and energy preparing for different seasons and weather conditions.  We have so much more than they did.   

We are gearing up to an intense energy with this full moon and we must have enough clarity of vision to create a healing consciousness.  When we are stripped of our security including our homes, our jobs, our vehicles, and for some even their town; we are left with our faith in our humanity.  Do each of us possess enough self love and faith to live our lives without these earthly necessities and pleasures? 

Mother Earth is doing all she can to keep us safe during these difficult climate changes.  We must realize that we are visitors on her turf and in that we need to learn a new respect for her.  Shifts are happening spiritually, mentally, physically and naturally.  Our emotional landscape is an important part of our planet’s landscape.  We must create a safe environment for all of the spiritual, emotional and even physical shifts that will occur.  Be ready for whatever that will look like for you. 

Our planet is in a state of volatility.  Our lives as we are living them today are changing radically and on many levels this could be considered a good thing. 

We need a new way of being that is based on a deeper more illuminating honoring of humanity and our planet.  Let us use the strength of Virgo and the compassion of Pisces to make certain that we are ready to move forward with lightness of being, extreme gratefulness and love in our hearts.
