Come on Baby Light My Fire!

This New Moon coming our way today April 18, 2015 is bringing us an opportunity for a new beginning. Like a baby just arriving there is promise and excitement.

You see my lovelies this new moon is in the sign of Aries, the child of the zodiac as well as the ultimate fire sign. Aries brings qualities that are bold, confident and limitless. I believe that even though these transits happen year after year; each time the Moon goes through a different phase it is affected by other planets that may be in signs that are new in their association and connection with each other. If this is too complicated to understand; I will explain with an analogy.

Right now the planet Pluto is in the sign of Capricorn. The last time it was in this sign was over 200 years ago. Now what we do know is that Capricorn is considered the father of the zodiac and Aries is considered the child of the zodiac. When the Moon and Pluto connect with each other there is a certain energy that gets activated.

What I feel is the father (Capricorn) coming together in a loving way and instructing the child (Aries) on how to start something new. The image here is a dad teaching his child to ride a bike for the first time. It takes the child being curious, excited, brave and somewhat unafraid and the father being a patient instructor.

Allow yourself to embrace a new adventure in some area of your life. Know that you have the courage and the fiery passion necessary to move forward. Think about what it felt like when you put your feet on those pedals and found yourself moving forward. Down the sidewalk exploring as you went along. This was you, all by yourself, becoming an individual in a whole new way. Where is that excitement in your life today? What are doing to revisit those childlike adventures? Aries is ruled by Mars (the Energy Guru).

Where is Mars in your sacred birth chart? Where is Aries located in your sacred birth chart. This is where a new adventure can begin.  With several planets now in the sign of Aries, Sun, Moon and Uranus, we have an opportunity to play.

Start something NEW. Even if it’s in the planning stages. I want to go to Sicily soon. I am going to spend the next couple of days starting the research. I am going to create a treasure map of what I want this trip to bring to my life.

What are you going to create? Take some time in the next couple of days to get the ball rolling. At least get on the bike and see how the pedals feel under your feet. Have fun    with it.
